Layered like a savory lasagna of comfort food, this casserole alternates seasoned bread dressing perfumed with sage, tender chicken, and a creamy soup mixture enriched with egg. It bakes slowly until the flavors meld and the top turns golden. If Thanksgiving dressing is your favorite part of the meal, this puts it front and center any day of the year.
