Somewhere between a savoury side and a sweet snack, this cornbread hits the mark on both counts. Honey and a touch of vanilla give the golden crumb a gentle sweetness, while melted butter keeps it moist and rich. Baked in a square dish or a cast iron skillet, it comes out tender with a lightly crisp top, perfect alongside chili or split warm with a smear of honey butter.
