- 1 Bunch Green Onions - Chopped
- 3 Sprigs Dill - Chopped
- 2 Stalks Rhubarb - Cut Up
- 2 Tbsp Rice
- 1/4 Cup Green Peas
- 1/4 Cup Green Beans (or Yellow Beans) - Cut Up

- Cook a pound of spareribs, or a bone from a roast in about 2 quarts water while you prepare the vegetables and cook 20 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- When vegetables are cooked, take off stove to cool slightly.
- Beat up 1 egg, add 1/2 pint sour cream, and beat together.
- Add a little of the warm borsch to egg-cream mixture, mixing all the time.
- Pour this into the rest of the cooled borsch: mix.
Do not bring to a boil again. Serve hot or cold
