- 12 Slices Bacon
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 4 Tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Mirin (or Dry Sherry)

- Bone chicken breasts; remove skin.
- Cut chicken into 2 x 1-inch pieces; cut bacon slices in half.
- Wrap bacon around pieces of chicken, securing with wooden picks.
- Heat the oil in heavy skillet; add bacon and chicken rolls, frying until golden brown.
- Pour off excessive oil.
- Add soy sauce, sugar, mirin and saki to skillet; cook for 5 minutes, turning rolls occasionally.
- Remove rolls from skillet; remove wooden picks.
- Arrange on platter; garnish as desired.
