- 5 to 6 Lb Stewing Chicken
- 1 or 2 Medium Onion - Chopped
- 1 - Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
- 8 to 10 Ears Corn - Cut From Cob
- 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 - Egg - Beaten
- 4 - Hard-Cooked Eggs - Chopped
- 3 Tbsp Parsley - Chopped
- 1 - Celery Salt - To Taste
- 1 - Onion Salt - To Taste

- Cut chicken into serving pieces.
- Place in large stewing pan; add 3 to 4 quarts water.
- Add onions, 1 tablespoon salt and pepper.
- Cover; cook over low heat until chicken is tender.
- Remove chicken from broth; remove and discard skin and bones.
- Cut chicken in 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
- Return chicken to broth; add corn.
- Cook over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Combine flour, 1/8 teaspoon salt and beaten egg in a bowl; mix to form crumbs.
- Bring soup to a boil; add crumbs gradually.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Drop in hard-cooked eggs and parsley; simmer for several seconds.
- Add seasonings.
Soup may be made ahead and frozen for future use.
