- 1 Large Frying Chicken - Disjointed
- 2 Tbsp Butter (or Margarine)

- 1 Tsp Dry Parsley
- 1 Clove Garlic - Minced
- 2 Cups Milk
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch

- Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika; dust chicken with flour mixture.
- Brown chicken in butter in electric skillet.
- Combine 3/4 cup hot water, celery seed, parsley flakes and garlic; pour over chicken.
- Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes or until tender.
- Remove chicken to heated platter; keep warm.
- Add milk to pan juices.
- Blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup water; stir into pan juices gradually.
- Simmer, stirring constantly, until gravy is smooth and thickened; season to taste.
