- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice

- Wash and core the apple.
- Slice the apple into two thick rounds (about ½ inch thick). Lightly brush the cut sides with lemon juice.
- Lay one apple slice on a plate.
- Add the cheese as the first layer.
- Fold the turkey slices over the cheese.
- Add the crispy bacon.
- Spread or spoon the jam evenly over the bacon.
- Top with a generous handful of fresh arugula.
- Finish with the second apple slice and gently press together.
- Serve immediately while the apples are crisp.
Optional Toppings:
- Thin slices of brie instead of cheddar
- Dijon or honey mustard
- Candied or toasted pecans
- A drizzle of balsamic glaze
- Everything bagel seasoning
