- Preheat oven to 375F (190C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish
- Combine 1/2 cup white sugar and cornstarch in a bowl; stir in strawberries, 1 cup at a time. Set aside.
- Combine flour, remaining 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl; stir in melted butter and egg with a fork until crumbly.
- Press 1/2 crumble mixture into the prepared baking dish; cover with strawberry mixture. Top with remaining 1/2 crumble mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes. Refrigerate before slicing into bars.
