- 1 Tbsp Honey (or Maple syrup)
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
Directions
Directions
- Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the juice.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes to absorb.
- Warm the mixture over low heat.
- Stir constantly until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
- Do not let it boil
- Stir in the honey (if using), lemon juice, vanilla, and fruit puree if desired.
- Mix until smooth.
- Using a dropper or small measuring cup, carefully fill silicone gummy molds.
- Refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until the gummies are firm.
- Pop the gummies out of the molds.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Tips:
- Use 100% fruit juice for the freshest flavor.
- For brighter color and more natural texture, blend fresh fruit into a smooth puree and replace up to half of the juice.
- Silicone molds make removal much easier.
- Avoid boiling the mixture, as high heat can reduce the gelatin's setting power.
