- 10 -12 Lb Turkey
- 1/4 Cup Salad Oil
- 1/2 Cup Salt
- 2 Tbsp Liquid Smoke
- 1 Cup Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Black Pepper
- 2 Tsp Parsley - Finely Chopped

- Preheat oven 350 degrees.
- Rinse turkey; pat dry with paper towels.
- Make a paste of salad oil and salt; rub 1/4 cup of the mixture into inside and neck cavities.
- Truss turkey; brush with additional oil.
- Place on roaster rack, breast side up.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Combine remaining salt paste, liquid smoke, vinegar, pepper and parsley.
- Baste turkey with vinegar mixture.
- Bake for 3 hours and 30 minutes longer or until turkey is tender, basting with vinegar mixture every 30 minutes.
- Let turkey stand for at least 15 minutes before carving.
