- 1/4 Cup Soya Sauce

- 2 - Bay Leaves

- Saute onion and garlic in small amount of butter in Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add chicken; brown well on both sides.
- Combine vinegar, 3/4 cup water, soy sauce, salt, sugar, bay leaves and monosodium glutamate; mix well.
- Pour over chicken mixture; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer for 2 hours or until chicken is tender and sauce is reduced to 1 cup.
- Serve with rice.
