There is something quietly luxurious about a cake built for slow mornings. The sour cream keeps every bite impossibly tender and moist, while a ribbon of cinnamon, brown sugar, and chopped nuts winds through the middle and crowns the top. Bake it on a lazy weekend and let the smell pull everyone into the kitchen. It pairs perfectly with a strong cup of coffee and good company.

- Cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining topping.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
