Tender, buttery, and just barely sweet, these scones are a proper treat for a lazy morning or an afternoon pot of tea. Buttermilk keeps them light while raisins and mixed fruit stud each wedge with little bursts of sweetness. Pat the dough into a round, cut it into triangles, and brush the tops with milk and sugar for a golden, glistening crust. Best served warm.
