- 2 - Carrot
- 1 Cup Cabbage - Shredded
- 1 Cup White Beans (or Broad Bean) - Cooked
- 2 Stalks Celery - Chopped
- 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (or Vinegar)
- 3 - Beet - Finely Chopped

- Cut up the spareribs, put into a large pot, cover with about 8 cups of cold water, add salt and pepper.
- Cook until meat is tender.
- Prepare the vegetables.
- Lift the meat out, add the vegetables and cook until tender.
- Ass cooked beans and about 1 cup of tomato juice.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Let come to a boil and its ready to serve.
