Wash,
peel and core apples. Combine sugar with spices and salt. Pre
pare pastry dough. Roll dough into rectangles of 1/2 to 1/4 inch thick.
Cut into squares large enough to be able to wrap an apple in the square.
Place an apple in each square and then fill each apple with the sugar-spice
mixture. Dot each apple with a teaspoon of margarine. Wrap the each apple in the pastry.
