Put rice, water, salt & pepper in large pot and cook in oven at 400 F for 45 minutes or until rice is tender.
Fry the
chopped bacon until almost crisp, add onions and fry until onions are tender and bacon is crisp. Roll in
steamed cabbage leaves. Put in
roast pan and pour tomato juice over till covered.
Bake at 350 F for about 2 hours or until cabbage leaves are tender.
