Chop onion, garlic and mushrooms (if using fresh).
Brown hamburger with onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add tomato sauce and spices.
Simmer for 20 minutes. Put some sauce on bottom of a 9" x 13" (22cm x 32cm) pan.
Third layer - Combined cottage and mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layers twice more. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
