2 Tsp Baking Powder 2 Cups Corn 1 Egg 2 Tsp Margarine Or Butter 1/4 Cup Milk 1/2 Tsp Salt 1/2 Tsp White Sugar
If using canned corn drain or frozen corn let thaw in a strainer to get rid of excess moisture. Mix egg, salt, milk, flour, baking powder margarine and sugar. Stir until well mixed, corn and mix well again. Let sit for 5 minutes.Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat. Cook until puffy and golden brown. Drain well and serve.
