Preheat oven to 350F. Brown sugar firmly packed when measuring. Beat butter, sugars, egg, water & vanilla until creamy. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir in rolled oats. Place onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 - 15 minutes
